Norwich City 1-1 Arsenal: Lewis Grabban cancels out Mesut Ozil's opener


The carbon footprint turned out to be the least of Arsene Wenger's problems.
Having stirred the eco-warriors by making the short hop to Norwich by air from Luton, Arsenal were back to earth with a bump and more than a few bruises and muscle pulls.
Laurent Koscielny limped off with a painful hip injury, and Alexis Sanchez followed him, clutching the hamstring that had been troubling him since Tuesday.

Mesut the maestro 
Mesut Ozil is out on his own as the Gunners' No 1 talisman.
The German international, who had already claimed a Premier League record with assists in seven successive games, kept the statisticians busy when he fired his side in front at Carrow Road. 
Ozil has now played a part in 13 of Arsenal's goals in their last 12 games – 11 assists and two goals, to be exact.
Gabriel can't be a regular 
Brazilian defender Gabriel Paulista remains a long way short of the standard required to claim a regular place in the Arsenal defence.
The £11 million signing from Villarreal in January was introduced early on when Laurent Koscielny was unable to continue after treatment and the first time a serious question was asked of him he made a complete mess of it, allowing Lewis Grabban to turn him far too easily for Norwich's shock equaliser. 
He was also close to conceding an own goal in the second half, only Petr Cech's alertness sparing his blushes.



Neil has what it takes  
When it comes to inspirational half-time pep talks Norwich boss Alex Neil can clearly compete with the very best. 
How else would you explain the Canaries' stunning second-half transformation that saw them roar back and give the Gunners an almighty fright? 
Relegation fodder? Not on this display they're not.

Campbell is no Sanchez
Joel Campbell, the Gunners' replacement for the crocked Alexis Sanchez, is not capable of filling the ex-Barcelona man's boots. 
Arsenal will be hoping that both Koscielny and Sanchez are not going to be sidelined for long as their absence will surely extend Arsene Wenger's long wait to recapture the Premier League crown

Arsenal youngsters can step up to plug the holes left by ongoing first-team injury crisis, says academy product Hector Bellerin

Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin has backed the club's academy prospects to step up and cover the 10 first team players who are currently out injured.
Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Laurent Koscielny all suffered injuries in Sunday's 1-1 Barclays Premier League draw at Norwich City, while Kieran Gibbs missed out with a calf issue to add to Arsene Wenger's problems.
The draw meant Arsenal slipped to fourth after failing to win for a third league game in a row, but Spaniard Bellerin said there were plenty of others that could follow his path from academy to first team and keep up the pursuit of leaders Manchester City.
