23.59 Thanks very much for following this all with us. We've really
enjoyed all your emails and rumours. Hope your club got somebody you wanted.
See you soon.
23.58 So how was it for you? We enjoyed Senderos, Berbatov moving to
Monaco (has ever a player and a city been so suited?), a chance to see
Championship Manager's Kim Källström play in the Premier League, and some
good late bursts of frantic signing from QPR and Palace. Fulham were
probably the club who did the most eye-catching deals, including big money
for a big Greek. But there certainly wasn't a really big, exciting deadline
day whopper. The big clubs were quiet. Spurs, usually good value for a
snub-snub-snub-PANIC BUY bit of comedy, were being very sensible.

manchester city ready to buy fernando
Manchester City reportedly one step closer to reaching an agreement with Porto midfielder Fernando could bring. The Brazilian was out of contract with Porto in June, so it was decided to sell.
Tribalfootball reported on Thursday (30/01/2014), the City has given an offer of 6 million pounds, or approximately USD 120 billion in order to get a 26-year-old player.
Besides Fernando, City also intends to attract fellow teammate Eliaquim Mangala. However, for the 22-year-old defender from France would have to wait until next summer to discuss the transfer.
During the winter transfer window rolling since the beginning of this month, the City has not brought any new players. Because manager Manuel Pellegrini was quite satisfied with the main squad held today.
