23.59 Thanks very much for following this all with us. We've really enjoyed all your emails and rumours. Hope your club got somebody you wanted. See you soon.
23.58 So how was it for you? We enjoyed Senderos, Berbatov moving to Monaco (has ever a player and a city been so suited?), a chance to see Championship Manager's Kim Källström play in the Premier League, and some good late bursts of frantic signing from QPR and Palace. Fulham were probably the club who did the most eye-catching deals, including big money for a big Greek. But there certainly wasn't a really big, exciting deadline day whopper. The big clubs were quiet. Spurs, usually good value for a snub-snub-snub-PANIC BUY bit of comedy, were being very sensible.
